SPEAKER_01:

I think we've been avoiding this this conversation, but it's one of those tough ones that we just have to have. You know, where you build it up in your head so much it becomes inevitable. But then you just delay it and delay it and delay it. I'm nervous already. Well, I think we just need to we need to break the news. Season three of Let's Talk Procurement is officially here.

SPEAKER_00:

And it's live. The thing is, we've we've told everyone that it's been season three for a while now. So is it actually. Can we actually breathe a sign of relief?

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. I think now, for those of you who listen to the end of season two with episodes from season three in, you're probably thinking, what a professional mob. You're right. This is the official line in the sand, jumping over into season three where you will experience professionalism, conciseness, banter, and great information.

SPEAKER_00:

I like that. I like it. Um what can what can listeners expect from things in season three? What do we have lined up for them?

SPEAKER_01:

We've got quite a long line of things actually. Think of it like a conga line. We've got some collabs coming up with some famous people in the procurement world. We've got SIPS tutors coming in to the studio, giving us some insights. We're gonna find out if you've managed to pick an essay topic. Then if you have what that topic is, we're also gonna find out if you pass that essay at some point. Um season four by then. Probably. Um and then we've got a bunch of topics as well. Do you want to go over the topic list?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, we um we're gonna have such great uh and enthusiastic and interesting topics like data protection, procurement department structures, and Aaron. That's what is the GOAT! The GOAT! Oh god, it gets worse, doesn't it? No, but in all seriousness, um we're still gonna be our usual self, but we're gonna try and be a bit more professional and a bit more organised. Um just just you know, keep the golden threads that have made us successful up to this point, such as our our humour and uh our general dulcet tones, but also bring a bit more professionalism into it. I think you know like football clubs have a have a director of football, and then they become a bit more professional. Maybe we need a we need like a director of podcasting, a director of not director of podcasting, a director of professionalism. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh we'll call them a um director of professional engineering. Ope. Yeah. That's where I think we need to go with that. So so are we hiring? Is that uh is that a job advert?

SPEAKER_00:

This is the job advert. If you want to be involved, then get involved.

SPEAKER_01:

Um I know I know we probably got an episode coming up on um uh labour and what we need to look out for there, you know, modern slavery and all that good stuff. But if you respond to our job advert, that is a pure example of below minimum wage um labor, basically, forced labour. So get in touch.

SPEAKER_00:

So this is our official advert to for uh for season three. Listen now on any good podcasting platform. See you later. See you later.
